Calathea Collection is a small business that sells handmade objects inspired by the botanical studies of its owner, Julie Ragsdale. She wanted her logo to feel as handmade and bespoke as the beautiful things she sells, so I hand lettered this logo and illustrated the leaf to resemble the business namesake, the Calathea plant.
The color palette is drawn directly from the Calathea plants beautiful range of colors that look like they were painted on.
